My Ten Favorite Things

My Ten Favorite Things

I was inspired to write this post after a recent visit to Mike Davidson’s blog. My intention here is to list my top ten favorite things. This list represents what I consider to be the most useful items in my arsenal. The list will undoubtedly change over time and does not warrant mention of the obvious like family and friends. This is merely a list of my favorite gadgets and gizmos. This list is in no particular order.

  1. 2003 Honda Accord EX – The all-weather floormats keep everything nice and new. Still wish I would have opted for the V-6 though.
  2. TiVo – I can’t imagine what I would do now without it.
  3. Netflix – Member since March 2004, I am currently on the 3-at-a-time Program and have rated over 700 movies. This service, along with TiVo has changed the way I watch T.V. Check out what’s in my Queue.
  4. OS X (Version 10.3.7) – I like this version so much, I’m almost afraid to get Tiger.
  5. Schlotzsky’s – Sorry Jared, Subway just doesn’t do it for me. Give me “The Original” any day.
  6. David Letterman – The Baby Boomers got “Johnny.” My generation gets “Dave.” There will never be another.
  7. Dreamweaver MX 2004 – By far, the best Web editor out there.
  8. Firefox 1.0 – You must get the Web Developer Extension.
  9. iPod (20GB) Can you belive I have 18GB storage left. What am I doing? I need to fill that sucker up.
  10. 14 inch iBook – I’ve got a brand new LCD screen thanks to Wegener Media and can’t imagine going back to Windows.
